Arizona is one of a handful of states that a new report says is most at risk of carbon loss due to wildfires.

The study was conducted by the Nature Conservancy, U.S. Department of Agriculture Forest Service and University of Montana. It also found using proactive forest management tools could help mitigate the problem.

Travis Woolley is forest and fire ecologist with the Nature Conservancy in Arizona, and one of the co-authors on the paper. He joined The Show to talk about what he was trying to find out with this study.
