Oh La La by Posh, near 16th Street and Glenrosa Avenue in Phoenix, closed suddenly in October 2023.

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes is suing the owner of a now-closed quinceanera dress store in Phoenix under the Arizona Consumer Fraud Act.

The store is accused of making customers pay deposits with no intention of delivering dresses, which are often expensive. 

The complaint against the company called Oh La La by Posh says the owner sold quinceanera dresses made by other designers, and told customers their special order would be ready in six to nine months.

Customers were allegedly charged purchase deposits — sometimes their entire bill.

The Arizona Attorney General's Office says roughly $44,000 in dress deposits have not been refunded to customers since Oh La La by Posh closed suddenly last fall.

The company owner, Renee Cuellar, lives in Texas. It is unknown if she is represented by a lawyer.
