The dryout continues for Valley weather through late this week
The dryout continues for the next several days in the Valley, following rain late last week.
That’s according to Isaac Smith, a Phoenix-based meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“To start off the work week, we’re going to be looking at some pretty warm conditions with temperatures near to slightly above normal. We’re going to be look at highs in the low 80s through the first half of this week,” Smith said.
High temperatures will decrease to the low 70s by Thursday.
The weather system responsible for that dip may bring snow to the high country according to Smith.
The high this afternoon in Phoenix reached 81°F, 5 degrees above the daily average. This is the 12th day so far this year with a high at or above 80°F. Last year we had 0 through March 10th. 2016 had the most with 28 days through March 10th. #azwx pic.twitter.com/UMvOCTB1vX
