The eclipse begins in Tempe, Arizona, on April 8, 2024.

It is solar eclipse Monday in the U.S. The once-in-a-generation event has drawn eclipse enthusiasts from around the world to what’s called the "path of totality" that starts in Texas and moves diagonally across the country.

In Arizona, we might be able to see a good partial eclipse starting pretty soon.

Adam Block, a researcher at the University of Arizona’s Steward Observatory, is in Texas now to watch and photograph the eclipse.
