The U.S. Men’s Soccer Team will be in the Valley this weekend for the third place Copa America Game against Colombia.

Copa America venue director Jeff Golner says about 25,000 tickets have been sold for the match at University of Phoenix Stadium, though he said turnout could go either way.

"I think the hard thing, we knew all along from the moment that we gladly accepted and were awarded the third place match was that sometimes there’s that great unknown," Golner said. "You just don’t know how fans are going to react."

Golner said there will be more shaded places and increased medical assistance outside the stadium to combat the 110 degree heat

Drivers may find traffic in the West Valley similar to Arizona Cardinals football game days.

The Arizona Department of Transportation warns of heavy traffic on the I-10 and Loop 101 in Glendale from midday through about 8 p.m.
