Antoni Muntadas and Marshall Reese's ninth exhibit Political Advertisement will be at ASU's Art Museum.

Political ads are meant to evoke emotion, raise our hopes and increase our doubts, among other things. But how often, as a particular campaign message is tossed our way, do we consider the artistic level or influences of the ad?

That’s precisely what Antoni Muntadas and Marshall Reese have been doing for decades with their Political Advertisement exhibition. The current one, their ninth, was at ASU’s Art Museum this week.
