Former State Health Director Talks About Future Of Marijuana In Arizona

Proposition 205, which would have legalized recreational marijuana in Arizona, was defeated on Nov. 8. But that hasn’t slowed discussion about marijuana — specifically medical — in the state.

A lawsuit has been filed, claiming fees for patients and dispensaries are too high, and that the Department of Health Services collected $2.6 million more in fees than it took to run the medical-marijuana program.
