Arizonans looking to buy health insurance on the Affordable Care Act’s marketplace must do so by the end of Tuesday, which is the deadline for enrollment.

Congress may be moving to repeal Obamacare, but the exchange is still open for people who want to get covered this year.

Data from earlier this month indicated that Arizona was on track to exceed its enrollment numbers from last year.

But since the inauguration and President Donald Trump’s signing of an executive order to ease the economic and regulatory burdens of the law, interest in enrolling may have tapered off, say some Arizona navigators who help people sign up on healthcare.gov.

They have also reported an unusually high number of cancellations.

This open enrollment season saw an exodus of insurers from Arizona’s marketplace and rising premiums.

However, supporters of the law point out that more than 500,000 Arizonans have gained coverage since 2010.

Gov. Doug Ducey has said he would like to see any repeal come with an immediate replacement.
