Dr. Robert Spetzler has been a pioneer in neurosurgery, performing on patients for decades at Phoenix’s Barrow Neurological Institute.

He recently decided he would retire from the position as Barrow’s president and CEO.

We stopped by Spetzler’s office to talk about what has changed in neurosurgery and how much we still don’t know about the human brain.
