Arizona’s three public universities have released proposed in-state tuition rates for the upcoming school year.

The vast majority of in-state undergraduates, currently enrolled at Northern Arizona State University and the University of Arizona, would see no change in their tuition. Incoming UA students would see a 1 percent tuition increase and some mandatory fees go up. New NAU students will see about a 3 percent increase.

Arizona State University is asking for a 1.5 percent hike for all students, which equals $150, as well as some new fees.

The Board of Regents will be hearing public comment later this month on the proposed changes and is expected to finalize the tuition and fees in early April.
