Tucson Unified School District plans to continue Arizona’s largest free meal program during the summer break.

Last year, the district provided more than 190,000 meals at its 58 public schools and partner sites.

Kids ages two to 18 can eat for free now through July 21, older family members can eat breakfast for $2 and lunch for $3.

Any child who needs food is welcome, whether or not they attend summer school.

The Summer Food Service program is a federally-funded, state administered program. Providers serving free, healthy meals to children and teens in low-income areas can be found at the U.S. Department of Agriculture website.
