Law Professor Explains Dismissal Of Case Against Rancher Cliven Bundy

The felony case against Cliven Bundy, his two sons and a militia leader has been tossed out by a federal judge. The case had generated headlines because of an armed standoff in Nevada between Bundy and his allies and federal agents in 2014.

The ruling is considered a boost for states’ rights advocates and a significant loss for the federal government.

With me to explain is Karen Bradshaw, associate law professor at ASU’s O’Connor College of Law.
