The Cleveland Indians will remove the Chief Wahoo logo from their uniforms next year. The change comes after decades of protest against the red-faced, smiling cartoon used since 1947.

We’re joined in studio by Amanda Blackhorse, a Navajo and longtime activist working to eliminate Native mascots and logos in professional sports. You may recognize her name from the Washington Redskins’ trademark case that made its way to the Supreme Court.
