Arizona Lawmakers Debating Proposal to Require Lab Testing of Medical Marijuana

State lawmakers are considering a proposal to require medical marijuana to be tested by third-party labs.

The Senate unanimously approved SB 1494 earlier this year, but it’s still awaiting debate in the House.

Will Humble is the executive director of the Arizona Public Health Association, and he was also the director of the state health department when voters approved the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act in 2010.

Humble joined The Show to explain the most important provisions of this testing bill.
