Classroom Details In Short Supply With Ducey's Budget

In his State of the State address, Gov. Doug Ducey called on lawmakers to make empty desks available to public and charter schools that don’t have enough.

The state budget the governor signed into law last week includes money for that, but few details. For more on this, we turn to Jeremy Duda, who covers the governor’s office for the Arizona Capitol Times.

It had been assumed there would need to be another bill to set the program up, but earlier this week, Duda wrote that may not be the case.
