There’s been a recent narrative that Phoenix has become a more attractive city for millennials as more is going on in business and the arts and with public transit, especially the light rail.

So that, at least anecdotally, is leading to more 20-somethings moving closer to downtown to be in higher-density neighborhoods.

Not everyone, though, and not every statistic agrees with that premise. We talked with economics writer Ben Casselman about his recent article on fivethirtyeight.com
