Scientists have started trying to figure out why the Four Corners region is such a hot spot for methane.

They earlier found the area to have one of the highest levels of methane in the world. For more on this, we turn to Christian Frankenberg, a research scientist at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, Calif.
