Ducey's Former Chief Of Staff Blasts Former Arizona Health Director In Tweet Storm
Gov. Doug Ducey’s former chief of staff, Kirk Adams, lashed out at the former director of the state department of Health Services on Twitter June 15. Adams hit Will Humble for being critical of how the governor and current health director are handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
Adams wrote that when Humble resigned from the department in 2015 it was “a good day for the administration and an even better day for public health." He went on to say that current health director Cara Christ is “ACTUALLY a medical doctor. Will Humble may play one on TV, but play acting is not the same as being one. It's been amusing to see some media treat him as though his credentials are on par with Dr. Christ."
The tweet storm from Adams caught many capitol observers off-guard.

Have you ever looked at an organization and thought to yourself, “SHE should be running the place!” I did. The day @willhumble_az resigned as Director of @AZDHS was a good day for the administration and an even better day for public health.
