With the U.S. setting global records for daily COVID-19 cases, coronavirus is affecting nearly every segment of the country, including the sports world. Two unidentified members of the Arizona Cardinals are among the latest football players to test positive for COVID-19.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury said it’s something the team has been preparing for since training camp.

“It wasn’t a matter of if, it was a matter of when this would occur," Kingsbury said. "It's how teams handle it the best, those teams are gonna be at the top of this deal, and we understand that.”

Kingsbury said the team cannot let the positive tests get in the way of their preparations. The Cardinals face a big test on Sunday, hosting the Miami Dolphins, who have won their last three games by an average of more than 20 points.
