The abortion debate often involves religious beliefs. But not all groups are against abortion

Since the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion on Roe v. Wade surfaced, the debate over abortion rights in the country has been raging with no end in sight.
And for many, it is an inherently religious issue.
The Catholic Church is always front and center here with its anti-abortion stance, which calls for ending abortion in all circumstances because of the belief that life begins at conception. But not all Catholics agree with that policy. In fact, not even most do.
Meanwhile, other religions argue the opposite — that a woman has a religious obligation to seek an abortion if her health is in danger.
The Show spoke about the differences in belief with Tracy Fessenden, the co-director for the Center for the Study of Religion and Conflict at Arizona State University.
