Former Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor will lie in repose for the public to pay their respects on Monday, Dec. 18, in the Great Hall of the U.S. Supreme Court, the court announced on Tuesday. 

O’Connor’s funeral service will be held privately on the following day at the National Cathedral. 

She served as the first woman on the Supreme Court and passed away in Phoenix on Friday at the age of 93. 

In lieu of flowers, O’Connor’s family requests donations to iCivics, a non-profit civics education organization that O’Connor founded.
