It was a historic January for the annual Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale. According to Barrett-Jackson, this year's auction was its biggest moneymaker in company history, with roughly 2,000 vehicles sold for a total of nearly $201 million.

The top 10 vehicles sold during this year's auction included: 

• 1956 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing Coupe – $3,410,000
• 2018 Bugatti Chiron – $2,970,000
• 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Special Roadster – $2,420,000
• 2005 Porsche Carrera GT – $1,870,000
• 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder – $1,787,500
• 2012 Lexus LFA Nürburgring – $1,650,000
• 2019 Ford GT – $1,375,000
• 2017 Ferrari F12 TDF – $1,347,500
• 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Convertible built by Jeff Hayes – $1,100,000
• 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster previously owned by Donald J. Trump – $1,100,000

 Additionally, over a thousand pieces of authentic automobilia were auctioned for an additional $6.7 million. 

“It was a tremendous event this week in Scottsdale with our largest docket in history, a record number of bidders, and an impromptu live performance by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar,” said Craig Jackson, CEO of Barrett-Jackson.

The event also raised just over $1 million for charity with the sale of four charity vehicles. 

The more than weeklong event in Scottsdale ended Sunday. Barrett-Jackson has been in operation since 1971.
