Patrons of strip clubs in Scottsdale and Tempe claim they were drugged, kidnapped and had their credit cards charged as much as $187,000 for a night of entertainment.

They are plaintiffs in a RICO lawsuit typically used against organized crime syndicates and terrorists.

A complaint says Dream Palace, Skin Cabaret and Bones Cabaret work together and offer free shuttle service.

The complaint also includes stories of customers who allege that their drink was spiked and they became incapacitated. The men accuse club staff of using their credit cards to run up huge bills for phantom lap dances. When some wanted to leave or friends tried to intervene, club staff allegedly prevented it.

A lawyer for the owner of the clubs says dancers are independent contractors liable for their own behavior and his client denies any wrongful conduct.
