An Arizona Court says a state law requiring people to comply with lawful orders by police during traffic stops is constitutional.

The case was brought before the state court of appeals by a man who drove off when an officer told him to not move his vehicle during a traffic stop. He argued the law is unconstitutionally vague and couldn't be the basis for a criminal conviction.

But a three-judge panel denied his appeal. Their ruling said that the law is clear enough by requiring that violations be made willfully and presuming that citizens should know what's lawful.
