Commemorating 25 Years Of Arizona's Victims' Bill Of Rights

Arizona voters 25 years ago today decided to amend the state constitution to include a Victims’ Bill of Rights.

It includes the rights to be present at any proceeding at which the defendant is present and to be notified when the accused has been released from custody, among others. Phoenix Attorney Steve Twist drafted the amendment. He spoke about the progress.
