Late last year Arizona Chief Justice Scott Bales issued an administrative order creating a Committee on Civil Justice Reform. It’s part of a goal to promote the general public’s access to justice and improve how the courts work in order to serve the public better.

Arizona’s move is consistent with national efforts to make the civil justice system better. Chief Justice Bales spoke about it.
