Arizona’s only professional soccer team is switching stadiums.

After playing in Scottsdale for one year, Arizona United is returning to its original home field, Peoria Sports Complex. This will be the third stadium switch in as many years as the team’s been around.

In a statement, Peoria’s Mayor says the city is happy to have the team back.

Officials say the team averaged 2,400 fans in its first year.

Arizona United also recently received a new financial investment from Grammy-nominated DJ Diplo, who will serve on the board of directors.

The organization signed a three-year deal to play home games in Peoria and will have their first game in April against the Portland Timbers.
