Cancer MoonShot 2020 Program is a four-year project designed to explore new ways to fight cancer.

During President Barack Obama’s State of the Union Address earlier this year, he put Vice President Joe Biden in charge of what’s being called a Cancer Moonshot Initiative. It is intended to put maximum focus, effort and funding toward finding a cure for cancer.

On Wednesday in Washington, D.C., the Vice President hosted a Cancer Moonshot Summit. In connection with that, the University of Arizona’s Cancer Center hosted a related event.
