Protesters gather at Camelback Road and 24th Street in Phoenix on July 15, 2016.

Concern about violence between police officers and communities of color in the U.S. continues. Two rallies were held on Friday night—one in central Phoenix and the other in Tempe. Monday  at 6 p.m., the Arizona chapter of Black Lives Matter is hosting a town hall meeting in the Valley called Moving Phoenix Forward at Phillips Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church at 1401 E. Adams St.

"We're hoping that this dialogue brings people to the table," said Rev. Reginald Walton, senior pastor of the Phillips Memorial Christian Methodist Episcopal Church. He’s also chair of the Arizona Black Lives Matter campaign.
