You might want to set your alarm a bit early tomorrow morning, like maybe between midnight and dawn, and find a nice dark spot to look up at the sky to get a glimpse of the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower. It's expected yield between two and three shooting stars a minute— an unusual outburst.

 "You don't need any special equipment," said Kevin Schindler, the historian at the Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff.

The best way to observe?

Find a dark area, a comfy chair that leans back and look up at the sky.
