The challenges of writing about an iconic historical figure are daunting and they grow if you’re also an actor taking on the role. Valley actor Marcelino Quiñonez wrote "El Che" and plays the title role of Che Guevara.

Performances run over the weekend at the Phoenix Center for the Arts.
