Chalice Zeitner was convicted of 17 felonies in two separate trials according to a statement released by Attorney General Mark Brnovich.

Zeitner was accused of presenting falsified medical records to support her claim that she had cancer and telling an obstetrician that her pregnancy put her life in danger.

She was also convicted of defrauding veterans’ charities out of $15,000. The Attorney General’s office prosecuted the case following an investigation by the FBI’s Phoenix field office and AHCCCS, Arizona’s Medicaid agency.
