In response to the recent closures of ITT Tech campuses in the Valley, the Maricopa Community Colleges is stepping in to help students who may be displaced.

The system is offering support, advice and academic counseling to the more than 1,000 affected students who are in various stages of academic degree or certificate completion with ITT.

District spokesperson Heidi Capriotti said they’ve set up a special process for students looking to continue their education in the field.

“In order to answer any questions they have about financial aid, to help them match their skills and abilities and interest with the right program at the right college and to help them throug this transition process,” said Capriott.

Displaced ITT students can find out if they’re eligible for help at one of the 10 colleges by going to maricopa.edu/tech.
