Tucson City Council

The Tucson City Council is meeting behind closed doors this afternoon, to determine its next steps in a potential showdown with the state.

A new state law allows Arizona’s attorney general to investigate whether cities and towns are violating existing state laws, and AG Mark Brnovich has determined Tucson may be in violation of one.

KJZZ’s Jude Joffe-Block is following this in Tucson and discusses the law the city may be violating, and how Tucson might be in violation.
