The American Bar Association has filed a lawsuit against the federal Department of Education.

It’s a very unique situation for the ABA to file suit, and it’s joined by four borrowers who took part in the Education Department’s Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

They claim, essentially, that the feds changed the rules in the middle of the game. Linda Klein is president of the American Bar Association.

We did reach out to the Education Department for this story. A spokesman told us the agency does not comment on pending litigation.
