Arizonans continue to pay less to fill up their gas tanks. AAA said the statewide average price of a gallon of unleaded was $3.39 Friday, and spokeswoman Michell Donatti said that is considerably less than elsewhere in the country. “We’ve been rather fortunate really all year long in maintaining a fuel price that is, generally it’s really been, in the bottom 10 states in terms of gas prices this year,” Donatti said.

But, she said she wants to wait a few days before making predictions on where gas prices are headed. Flagstaff has the state's highest prices at an average of $3.65 a gallon, while Tucson has the lowest prices at $3.27.
