A Phoenix woman who left her children in a hot car earlier this year has only a few weeks left to fund a childcare and education trust fund.

On Monday, a Maricopa County Superior Court judge warned the mother her plea deal would be pulled if the money wasn’t deposited soon. Oct. 27 is Shanesha Taylor’s deadline to deposit money into the fund. Her attorney said $60,000 will be used for the trust fund of the $114,000 donated by the public, thanks to a social media campaign.

The trust fund is part of a plea agreement that Taylor reached with prosecutors in August when she regained custody of her two sons, ages 2 and 6. She left them in her car this spring while she went to a job interview in Scottsdale after she said childcare arrangements had fallen through.
