High temperatures and drought conditions are pushing volunteers to step up their efforts to protect Arizona’s wild horse population.

Volunteer groups in Arizona and Colorado are hauling water and food to areas where springs have run dry and vegetation has disappeared.

Helping to lead these efforts is Simone Netherlands, president of the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group, who joined The Show to talk about their efforts.
