When the Tesla Roadster came on the scene more than a decade ago, it was a sensation, and sold out quickly. Since then, the company has branched out to other models — and price points — of cars, as well as other non-automotive areas.

Hamish McKenzie wrote about this in his new book, "Insane Mode: How Elon Musk’s Tesla Sparked an Electric Revolution to End the Age of Oil."

McKenzie is a journalist and former Tesla employee, and he joined The Show to talk about his book, particularly the meaning of the title.
