Last month, Seattle’s skyline took on a hazy, smoky look as smoke from nearby wildfires blew in.
That led a local meteorologist to talk about what might be a new weather phenomenon — "smokestorms."
Cliff Mass, a professor of atmospheric sciences at the University of Washington, joined The Show to explain this phenomenon.
