After a busy first week, Arizona’s Snowbowl Ski Resort has had to adjust to balance its crowds with COVID-19 precautions.

Despite open spaces on the mountain with plenty of space to socially distance, Snowbowl marketing coordinator Li Cui says there have been some challenges maintaining social distancing on lift lines.

“Certainly for opening day the lift lines, lift mazes were definitely a bit of a challenge. You know, I’m happy to say that we’ve adapted pretty quickly. You know our team’s made the necessary adjustments and right now I think we’re offering a great experience for people in the lift lines.”

Cui also said one of the more significant changes made due to the pandemic was restricting visitors from indoor spaces.

For more on the adjustments, Cui spoke to The Show.
