A Chinese spy balloon has been capturing a lot of attention lately after the U.S. government shot down a high-altitude balloon sent by the Chinese government off the coast of South Carolina earlier this month. It had been spotted near nuclear missile sites.

Now, an Arizona company co-founded by Sen. and former astronaut Mark Kelly is in the spotlight too — because of its ties to China.

Tucson-based World View manufactures and operates high-altitude surveillance balloons and, as recently as seven years ago, received funding from Chinese investors with ties to the Communist Party.
