From Tesla's batteries to cell phones that charge faster, lithium is a growing industry and proving to be a prominent factor in the shift away from fossil fuels. It is a key ingredient in many of the clean-energy technologies we are looking toward.

Emily Hersh is the founder and CEO of Luna Lithium, a lithium exploration company that’s focused on mining lithium in Nevada. Before that, she was a longtime consultant in the industry. The Show spoke with her about where the industry currently  stands and some recent moves by our neighbors to the South to nationalize the country’s lithium and extraction industry.
