The Grand Canyon is visited by more than 4 million people annually, according to the National Park Service.

Grand Canyon National Park is implementing water conservation measures for the South Rim.

The park continues to struggle with diminished water supplies.

Crews are investigating water-treatment challenges and cannot pump water from Roaring Springs to replenish water stores. 

All park residents and visitors must take measures such as not watering plants, shorter showers, running full dishwasher loads and not washing vehicles.
