Grand Canyon's North Rim starts seasonal wind-down

Grand Canyon National Park's North Rim.
Grand Canyon National Park will start winding down services at the North Rim for the season.
Overnight stays at the Grand Canyon Lodge or camping will end Oct. 16. Visitors should bring enough food and water for the day.
A self-serve gas station will still be running but doesn’t take cash. The visitor center and the general store will close as well.
