1st event in Chandler's Building Better Mental Health Series set for Oct. 21

To kick off its Building Better Mental Health series, Chandler will be hosting an informational session Saturday with a focus on understanding mental health and addressing stigma.
“This symposium is an opportunity for us as the city to have a free platform for some of that information to get out into the community," said Niki Tapia, the city’s diversity, equity and inclusion officer.
The session is one of three events planned in the series. Several experts will give presentations on topics which include mental health care in the LGBTQ+ community and the science involved in ADHD treatment.
