A San Diego woman has been missing since September after making a stop in Coconino County.

Chelsea Grimm had been traveling across the country to attend a wedding when she made a stop in Arizona. The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said earlier this month that she was last seen Sept. 28 in Williams. Grimm was reported missing Oct. 4.

Her vehicle was later found abandoned on Oct. 5 near Forest Service Road 6, northeast of Ashfork, after hunters reported it.

Her mother, Janet Grimm, recently appeared on NewsNation to discuss what happened to her daughter.

“It was after a couple more days after that, that we started thinking this is too long for a camping trip and she should be back. She should be somewhere where she could get in touch," she said.

Before her disappearance, a police officer made contact with Chelsea Grimm, advising her to sleep at a Love’s Truck Stop. Her father, Stephen Grimm, says his daughter possibly left her vehicle voluntarily.

Anything with information is encouraged to contact the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office at 928-774-4523.
