The Diamondbacks play the Dodgers on Oct. 11, 2023, at Chase Field.

It’s been 22 years since the Arizona Diamondbacks last made it to the World Series. Now, with many clamoring for tickets to see the D-backs compete for their second championship, fans might be experiencing sticker shock on the secondary market.

Arizona's three World Series home games have already sold out.

Danny Sharaby owns the Arizona-based company, Tickets Unlimited. He said resale tickets for Games 3 through 5 start in the hundreds — $700 to $5,500 or even $6,000 depending on the seat.

“It’s pretty reasonable, I think,” said Sharaby. “But not having been in a World Series for 22 years, people are a little bit shocked at the prices … but are willing to spend, so that’s a good thing.”

But thanks to Halloween, “Tuesday in the end will be a little slower than Monday and Wednesday.”

Sharaby says tickets for the four games in Texas are running higher than those in Arizona. As of Thursday, standing-room-only for those games started at $451.
