In October, the Arizona Educational Foundation named its 2024 Arizona Teacher of the Year.

The winner was Efrain Casillas, a music teacher in the Tolleson Elementary School District. Casillas has been teaching for more than two decades, and he's also taken his shows on the road.

Casillas spoke with The Show about his work and what it means to win the award.
