Arizona State Fair celebrates 140 years in 2024, offers ticket presale this week

The Arizona State Fair has released its official dates and theme for the 2024 event.
The theme of the event will be “birthday” in celebration of the fair’s 140th anniversary. The event was established in 1884 as a Territorial Fair.
The fair will open on Friday, Sept. 20, and go through Oct. 27. There will be a special discounted online presale for general admission tickets on Tuesday, Feb. 13, and Wednesday, Feb. 14. Tickets will be available for $7 on Tuesday and $10 on Wednesday.
Last year, approximately 1.4 million visitors attended the annual fair. The Arizona State Fair said they plan to surpass those numbers this year.
